First Assembly of God is a church with a rich history, a strong and vibrant vision and a broad, active ministry base that embraces each individual person no matter their place in life. From the infant to the elderly, First Assembly of God has an energetic ministry designed to “Connect People and Elevate Lives”. Come and see!

The Pastoral Staff and Leadership Team are well qualified. But better than that, they are extremely motivated by faith and love to see people and families stable and strong in their relationship with God and each other. Meeting them and feeling their heart for people is refreshing. Come and see!

First Assembly has a wonderful, collective heart to reach and assist those in need both physically and spiritually. Missions and Compassion, both home and around the world, are a very large part of who we are and what we do. Every year more than ¼ of our total income is used for Missions to touch San Antonio, the State of Texas, the U S and the World. As well, each year sees several exciting Missions Trips to someplace to build churches, schools, camps and other facilities. China and the Galapagos Islands are a couple of examples out of dozens of places we have gone. They all are listed under the “M” in our MESS. Come and see!

Our services are energetic, helpful and purposeful. We are passionate in our love and worship of God. Not only do we believe and embrace the Bible as His Word, but we experience His presence. We believe prayer and faith access God’s provision. We pray with each other and support each other in times of need. Come and see!

Finally, the real strength of our church is the consistent, every week, ministries to and with our people. Outside of our main services, most of these are “Small Groups”. Children and Students get a lot of attention. There is no doubt, it is the people of First Assembly and their love for Jesus Christ and each other that causes this place to be nurturing and relational.
