On an average of every six weeks our class schedule changes. During those six weeks each class is age appropriate for children and topical studies for the adults. Classes are small, group based and feature great teachers and relevant topics. If you are new to First Assembly, our First Things First Class is a great place for you to start to teach you all about First Assembly, including what we believe and why. Education hour is a great place to be each Sunday with the entire family. See the Adult Bible Fellowship (ABF) schedule for more information on these classes.
What can I expect @ the 10:15am service? Once you arrive @ First Assembly of God one of our greeters will meet you at the door to say hello and give you a weekly bulletin full of events coming up and the schedule for the day. If you have children you may check them in at the nursery or KIDS Rock. Once you arrive in the sanctuary one of our ushers will gladly assist you in finding a seat or you may find a seat of your choice. A five minute countdown will appear on the screen to alert everyone when the service will begin...
Our worship team will open with a song and one of our staff pastors will greet the congregation and pray. Our worship team will lead the church in about 25 minutes of singing with a time of prayer during worship. If you would like prayer you may come forward during that time and someone from our prayer team will gladly join with you in prayer for your need. After worship we will have a time of announcements and our ushers will receive the offering for our regular church attendees and members. During this time our Church News will air on the big screen and you will be informed of all the events coming up at First Assembly. After church news our Pastor will speak a Biblically inspired message to enhance our lives and challenge us to a new level of living. At the conclusion of the message our Pastor will have a time of prayer and our worship team will usually sing another song as we dismiss.
If you are a first time guest at the conclusion of the service we would love to meet you in our guest reception in the front lobby just outside of the sanctuary. Our pastoral staff will be there to greet you and answer any questions you might have. You will also be asked to fill out a guest card during the service or you can fill it out in the reception. We look forward to you worshiping with us @ First Assembly of God.
